THE STORY OR THE BEGINNING OF SPEECHYES

My interest in the development and the establishment of communication while working with people and children with speech difficulties appeared during my work at the school for children with hearing impairments Dr. Decho Denev in the late 90’s.

My professional path met me with Prof. Vanya Matanova and Prof. Svetla Dimitrova, who had an incredible impact on the direction of my work with children with communication disorders.

To this day, I remain true to the statement that the most accessible method of work and influence on speech development is through game therapy. Hence the idea to influence and reverse the process from speechless to speechYes through game therapy saturated with sensory stimuli.

For the last 20 years, 10 of which I spent in the English special education system, I had the opportunity to work with 200 families, mostly of children between 6 and 18 years of age diagnosed with autism or MSI. I did not receive a unified formula, but the results achieved with children and families can be summarized in a program whose main code is work in home environment and family.

My ambition and desire are the program we offer to reach more families and children, which will change the public attitudes, the approach of specialists to the issue, as well as the comfort of children in the school environment.
